Warranty Policy

At Proformance Diagnostics, we stand behind the quality and performance of our products. This Limited Warranty Policy outlines the warranty coverage applicable to Proformance Diagnostics hardware products and accessories.

1. Limited Hardware Warranty

Proformance Diagnostics warrants that its hardware products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise approved in writing by Proformance Diagnostics.

2. Covered Products

Covered hardware products may include, but are not limited to: Proformance Link diagnostic devices, Proformance Link Display units, Proformance NOx Sensor Tester, and approved Proformance-branded adapters and cables.

3. What This Warranty Covers

During the warranty period, Proformance Diagnostics may, at its sole discretion, repair the defective product, replace the defective product with a new or refurbished product, provide replacement parts or accessories, or issue a comparable replacement product if the original product is discontinued.

4. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover damages or failures caused by improper installation or misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, physical abuse, accidents, exposure to water or excessive heat, power surges, incorrect voltage, cosmetic wear and tear, or the use of third-party accessories not supplied by Proformance Diagnostics.

5. Software and Mobile Applications

Unless otherwise specified in writing, software, firmware, mobile applications, and subscription-based services are provided “as-is.” Proformance Diagnostics does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free software operation.

6. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, customers must contact Proformance Diagnostics prior to returning any product. Customers may be required to provide proof of purchase, serial number information, and a description of the issue. Remote troubleshooting may be required before warranty approval.

7. Shipping Responsibility

Unless otherwise approved in writing, customers are responsible for shipping products to Proformance Diagnostics for warranty evaluation. Proformance Diagnostics will cover return shipping for approved warranty repairs or replacements within the continental United States.

8. Warranty Void Conditions

This warranty will be considered void if product labels or serial numbers are removed or altered, the product has been disassembled or modified without authorization, or damage is determined to be caused by misuse, abuse, or improper application.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proformance Diagnostics shall not be liable for downtime, loss of revenue or profits, towing expenses, vehicle repairs, diagnostic labor charges, or consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.
